I would not be able to do what I do
If not for the strenght in you

For the faith you show in me I can never forget
You never judged or held a grudge
You pulled me out of dispair with a laugh and a hug
And when my luck finally ran out
You showed up with some cash and just bailed me out

It was the hardest thing for me
To just pack my bags and just move away
But it was the time and I couldn't stay
But now I've got this need to say

You gave me the courage of my will
And taught me how to be peaceful and still
You gave me unconditional understanding
I've never known anyone who is less demanding
But I didn't take the time
To witness how your winds chime
To feel the strains of your heart
I just packed away my life and made a new start
