Outa Sight Outa Sound

When the rain comes down
Does it still feel wet to you
When you left that this town
Did it make you feel kinda blue
Tell me why you don't dance no more
Tell me why you don't show your face
You’re not eating enough that's for sure
You’re not giving yourself enough space

I was listening to your old days
I watched the video
I was reminiscing of your odd ways
I love you and I thought you should know
Do you still spill out over the sides
Do you still see things floating around
Can we go out searching at low tide
See what comes outa sight outa sound

I was thinking of moving to California
And being a cook for the lost souls
Giving them a nourishing formula
As they search out their goals
But I'm just not patient enough
I never was and it makes me mad
But I straighten up and now I’m more Zenned than tough
Now I'm in focus but still painted in colours so sad

But I don't blame them and I don't blame you
I don't blame anyone but me
It's a crap ending but at least it's true
At least as far as I can see
You take the house, you take the security
You take the future in your soft chair
You deserve it with your heart of purity
I'll just leave quickly and try not to trip on the stair

Do you still spill out over the sides
Do you still see things floating around
Can we go out searching at low tide
See what comes outa sight outa sound
