Dangerous
Line
She came in from nowhere
With a laugh and a smile
A giggle down the phone dear
I thought it might be fun for awhile
She was lieing to her lover
And I expect the same to me
She peeled off all her covers
And said I offer you me for free
It’s a dangerous Line you walk
I think it’s best if we don’t talk
She orphaned all my ideals
About life and passion and love
Until all that’s left is that nothing heels
And I think I’ve had enough
So now an open heart is for fools
And compassion will get you killed
But if you wanna play without any rules
Don’t complain when the blood spills
Some say that fate is mapped
That what ever will be will be
But I’ve never felt trapped
In my own destiny
There’s nothing to be said she said
There’s nothing that can be done
But I have a new pair of running shoes
And boys I’m ready for a run
Now time and tides will turn
For ever and ever more
But if her heart was ever with me
On this I’m not really sure
Or why she’d want to flood
So much darkness into the light
I’m not sure of her motives
But the last thing I want is a fight
My desire is my devil
It dances fire around my dreams
It wraps me in the finest silks
But has no thread to stich the seams
On this I’ve sat and pondered
For many hours at a time
Of all that you’ve surrenderd
How much of it was mine
It’s a dangerous Line you walk
I think it’s best if we don’t talk
It’s a dangerous Line you walk
I think it’s best if we don’t talk
It’s a dangerous line you walk
I think it’s time for you and I to talk
