Lionel is doing a series of "Sessions" in Vienna over the next few months. They are held on Tuesday evenings and are currently being held at the Kriterium. The core group for the Sessions is Valentin Oman on piano, Thomas Eder on acoustic guitar, Bernhard Osanna and/or Peter Schönbauer on contra bass and Georg Beck on drums.

"Basicly we take my song book, that has over 60 songs in it, and jam through it, sometimes we just make the song up on the spot, sometimes we'll stop in the middle and try it a little differently, different groove maybe. We invite down other players to join in, the idea is to have some fun with it and just play for the playing. We don't charge a cover as we are not there to entertain anyone but ourselves."
